This climate protection project supports the operation of a solar park in the rural area of the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. With a total capacity of 15 MW, the solar park generates an average of 23,103 MWh of renewable electricity per year, which is fed directly into the Indian power grid. The environmentally friendly solar power produced improves grid stability and thus reduces power outages in the region. At the same time, the project actively contributes to increasing the share of renewable energies in the Indian electricity mix. The use of emission-free solar energy saves around 22,299 tons of CO₂ per year, which makes a significant contribution to climate protection and sustainable development.
